Dear Mom,
Life has been so busy this last little while. Kirsi started second grade, and Kaylee is in kindergarten! In a few weeks Zachary starts preschool. They've grown so much. Aiden is getting ready to play with toys, he can almost sit up. Anneli is getting ready to potty train. They are so big! I wish they had the chance to know you. You would have been an awesome grandma.
I had a great morning! I walked my girls to school; we giggled and talked. Then after dropping them off I went for a run. It was a good run! I wish I could hear you tell me you are proud. I cam home and started thinking about you. I thought about our trips to Olive Garden for my birthday, shopping, and walking at night. I love those walks! Mostly I just loved having you all to myself. You would listen to whatever I had to say, and it was important to you. Nancy organized a walk to commemorate your life. I am looking forward to it. I know we will laugh, I'm sure we will cry. Afterwards we are celebrating Grandma's birthday. Don't worry Mom, we'll make sure she has a good birthday.
I miss you so much Mom! You left so soon. You were so young and vibrant, and had so much to offer life! I know Heavenly Father knows better, and you must have a lot to offer him as well. But I still miss you terribly. Your life was short, but it was rich and full. I strive to be like you. I look forward to being with you again some day. Sometimes that knowledge is the only thing that gets me through. I can't wait to see your face, feel your touch, and hear your sweet voice in song. Till we meet again..
Love,
