This weekend we celebrated Kirsi's 7th birthday! I can't believe she is 7! Unfortunately we have been sick at our place for about a week now, and the weather has been aweful. Also with her birthday being on a Sunday, and conference, it made for a pretty boring day.
Luckily we were able to celebrate a little on Friday. Mark took Kirsi to a movie, and Kirsi had an American Idol party with her friends. We had a karaoke machine, a few dress up items, some pizza, and a lot of fun! The girls were shy at first, but by the end they couldn't get enough of the karaoke! That evening Kirsi joined her dad at the Jamiaca Mission reunion. She got to try some authentic jerk chicken and pork, which she loved. At least she was able to spend some one on one time with her dad.

Looks like she had a lot of fun. Girls are so much fun. Such simple things make them so happy.
